What a final. 2 - 0 down with barely 20 minutes left, France level it up with a quick-fire Mbappé double. Argentina take the lead in extra time with just 12 minutes remaining only for Mbappé to complete his hat-trick. Both teams went for it and had good chances in stoppage time of extra time but it ended up being settled on penalties. Argentina converted all 4 of theirs with France only scoring 2 (1 saved, 1 missed).
