World Cup Cricket 2007 - West Indies

Australia win!

In a match badly affected by rain, Australia made the most of their advantage in batting first. The Sri Lankans had to battle the conditions, interruptions and the Aussie attack and it was all just too much for them in the end.

Coverage

The exclusive live television rights for the UK have been purchased by Sky, so you'll need to be a subscriber to their services if you wanted to watch the matches live on TV. All of the matches were covered on Sky Sports 1 or Sky Sports 2. They also have the rights to the internet video broadcasts.

The BBC were providing radio coverage both over the airwaves and online via Test Match Special on Radio 4 (long wave) and Radio 5 Live Sports Extra (digital only). Not all of the group matches were covered, but each match from the Super 8 onwards were broadcast. They also broadcast television highlights at the end of the day.
